“Among the works of F. Vrančić (1551 – 1617), we find two short writings addressing philosophical disciplines of logic and ethics. In 1608 the work entitled Logica suis ipsius instrumental format was published, and in 1610 in Rome Ethica Christiana. The author of both writings was signed as Yiusbuls Verax Stitchillul. In 1616, in Venice, Logica nova suis ipsius instrumentis formata et recognita was published in one volume, which was partially modified and extended version of Logic from 1608, featuring the unchanged text of Ethicae christianae. The author was signed here with his real name: Farustus Verancius. Nowadays, the photocopies of these texts are stored at the National and University Library in Zagreb.”
