Virtual exhibition Faust Vrančić was created at the National and University Library in Zagreb on the occasion of celebrating the 400th anniversary of the death of Faust Vrančić. The exhibition accompanies the physical exhibition entitled Renaissance Faustus Verantius and the exhibition entitled Machinae novae by Faust Vrančić, which was held in NSK in 2015 on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the publication of Vrančić’s work New Machines (1615/1616).

The Virtual Exhibition was created in 2017 in collaboration with the Department of Public Relations, the Department of Information Technology and the Croatian Institute for Librarianship of the National and University Library in Zagreb, coordinated by of Sofija Klarin Zadravec, PhD.

The exhibition used the Library’s material from the Collection of Manuscripts and Old Books, Collection of Maps and Atlases as well as Graphic Collection, texts prepared for physical exhibitions and other available sources.
