The first nine letters, az, buky, vjedi, glagoljo, dobro, jest, živeti, dzelo, zemlji, may be rendered into verse and read as I, having knowledge of letters, say: it is very good to live on earth, and they also correspond to numbers 1 to 9, respectively.
